Whats a Sniffari Park?
A Nose Above the Rest!
At Bandit’s Dog Town, we know that your dog’s nose is their superpower!
With up to 300 million scent receptors (compared to our mere 6 million), dogs experience the world through smell in ways we can only imagine. Whether they’re tracking a trail, sniffing out treats, or just exploring the backyard, every dog here is encouraged to follow their nose and enjoy the sniff-tastic adventures they were born for!
The sniffari park has been specially designed for dogs to engage in scent-based activities allowing them to explore and interact with their environment using their keen sense of smell.
It includes natural elements, such as trees, bushes, varied surfaces which all stimulate dogs senses and encourage natural behaviours, providing both mental and physical enrichment.
Our field adventures are more than just walks - they are an opportunity to explore, play and thrive in a secure, natural environment.
Set within our exclusive 7.5 acres countryside retreat, each adventure is designed to give your dog the freedom to roam off lead, under expert supervision, with plenty of space to sniff, chase and socialise.
Let us take the lead with our beautiful countryside walks.

Non-excessive barking policy
At Bandits Dog Town, we celebrate dogs being dogs, but for safety, comfort and enjoyment, we follow a non-excessive barking policy.
Occasional barking is natural, but prolonged or excessive barking can create stress and anxiety for other dogs, as well as disrupting the peaceful environment we strive to maintain.
Our non-excessive barking policy forms part of our application process, we require all clients to read, agree and sign the policy prior to the dogs service commencing.

Bandit the Springer Spaniel isn’t just any dog, - He’s the Boss - Bandits wouldn’t be what it is, without the boss man himself.
Bandit is highly and specifically trained in manging dog behaviour. He effectively uses ‘splitting’ technique to de-escalate tension, managing unwanted behaviours and re-direct dogs, making him uniquely skilled.
His leadership and advanced training set him apart bringing both brains and charm, making him a truly unique companion and leader of the pack
What is Splitting?
Definition: In the dog behaviour world, splitting refers to a calming and conflict-diffusing behaviour used by socially skilled dogs to interrupt or prevent tension between other dogs and even between humans and dogs.
It is a natural form of conflict resolution. The goal is de-escalate potential aggression or overexcitement.
Its like having a permanent mediator on our walks.
Dogs that can use splitting are typically confident and not reactive
They are often seen as peacekeepers in group setting
Like Bandit, dogs can be trained to enhance this natural behaviour
Splitting isn’t breed specific, its a social behaviour, however certain types of dogs are more likely to split, including:
Herding breeds - Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, German Shepherds
Working breeds - Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Standard Poodles
Spaniels and Gundogs - Springer Spaniels (like Bandit), Cocker Spaniels, Vizslas
Dogs like Bandit play an essential role in creating safe, balanced social environments.
